XC60 2016 low True Market Value
Hi folks,
According to Edmunds, a 2016 T5 with 45k MSRP only has a True Market Value of 38k... I don't think I've ever seen such a gap on a new car.
Seems like the XC60's are not selling well at the moment with dozens left on the lot (in addition to the 2017s). This appears to allow for a sweet lease deal but is there something I am missing? Why are these cars not selling? It doesn't even seem like the 2017 models bring any significant improvements...
I'm an expat going to be in the US for 2 or 3 years so the plan is to lease for 24 months with the possibility of "having to" buy the car at the end of the lease and so I want to be sure I won't regret choosing an XC60 with a residual of 25k in 2 years.
Thanks,
/david
