Man the car drives great but the android system is so buggy. Was working fine and now 1.7 constant say no internet connection, can’t send message now, etc when I do voice to text.

really buggy Volvo! Step it up! Anyone else having talk to text issues?

 

Yup same here. The Google assistant doesn't work, the trip auto doesn't reset, and the tire pressures don't show up the way they were supposed to, and the remote climate control doesn't work. I chatted with someone via the app who had me reset the LTE antenna (press and release front window defogger, press again until the LTE symbol disappears from top left of screen, lock car for 1.5 hours) but that didn't make a difference. Also did a soft reset of the system which didn't work. Was told to take it in for service but the soonest Volvo of Marietta GA could get me is December 27th!

 

What a shame. I will try the LTE reset as I’m realizing it takes about 5 minutes for me to get an internet connection. Look, it seems we’re going to have to wait for a patch to fix these issues. I know Volvo is aware, as my service manager has stated he’s got a good amount of calls about it. Hopefully in a couple of weeks they smooth it out. 1.6 was a great update, I had zero issues.

Sad thing is the car drives great, just these stupid software issues and during 1.6 it was so smooth. I operate my car as my office basically and I was rattling off full paragraphs of text without issues.

I have had the/ V90 2018 for 4 years… no issues… easy to change some settings from the left panel with icons showing what we need…. I have a xc60 2022 fir a week…. So sad and almost angry… I do not believe how bad is the android system… missing parts of the software… I feel like going back 5 -6 years… even the new app is worst than my Hyundai costing ⅓ of my new car…. Volvo needs to wake up fast
