I tried to adjust the speed and the **** to do so moves and the led on screen shows it as off but the fan keep blowing on high with or without the AC mode on. I disconnected the battery, then connected again and the blower is still at full tilt and won’t turn off with the ****.

Any ideas on this?

 

The electronic resistor is bad - unless the CCM is sending the wrong signal -
