Ac not blowing
Hi iam driving a 1990 Volvo 760 Turbo 183,000 when I turn on the vehicle the AC wont blow air at times. Some times I use the vehicle one or two days and the AC works fine but some times I used for one or two days and wont work. Whe the AC wont work at the time I turn on the vehicle it looks like is going to work, blows air for one or two seconds and then nothing and all the time when is not working the green light on the AC control is blinking.
I already tried to turn on the vehicle with the compressor switch on and off, the speed control in auto and also in 0.
Some times blow air and some times wont, the green light (compressor switch) blinks all the time (if is on or off) when the AC is not blowing.
I don't have the vehicle manual.
Thank you for the replay, I was out of town.

You can get the manual here: http://www.volvocars.com/us/top/comm...yourvolvo.aspx
I meant, did you try to operate the system in manual instead of automatic? Like, turn the **** to 4 or 5. I sounds like there is a fault that the system is detecting. Does it work good in the heat side?

It's probably your pressure switch going bad...either that or low on freon..meaning it will still blow cold when turns on but will on turn on for a bit then shut off cause pressure in the system is too low...
