XC60 Centre console

Dear All -

What's that slot for on the left side of the centre console?
In the centre console of the XC60 there is a slot, see pic. Does anyone know what that slot is for?

It is a sensor for the climate control.

Button left of climate control

Thanks for the reply. How about the button (with the horizontal white stripe) left of the climate control sensor? Doesn’t seem to do anything. Cheers

That button doesn't do anything and the slot is the cabin temperature sensor.
