Default XC60 Clylinder head damage

Timing belt broke then two weeks later it broke again as well as the auxiliary drive belt. The cylinder head is now damaged and as the car is a 2009 I don't want to spend a huge amount on a new head especially as I was planning to trade it in against another Volvo. The car has 2.4 D5244T10 engine(205Hp).
I'm having problems locating a second hand cylinder head and I was wondering if a cylinder head from another engine (not a T10) would fit as T10's seem rare. My head is damaged and the garage says it can't be repaired.
I'd even be prepared to buy a second hand engine but again T10's seem rare. Would another engine fit my car?
Any advice re an alternative head or engine would be greatly appreciated. I'm a Brit but living in Portugal.
