I was quite surprised at how small a footprint the phone charging pad is in my 2022 XC60. I have an iPhone 12 Mini and it fits satisfactorily, but I’m wondering if those with larger mobile phones are having issues.

I should add that while our vehicle is in for service, we have a loaner 2021 XC90 and it totally fails to keep my phone charging. Luckily, my own vehicle charges the phone well.

 

I have a Samsung Note 9 with a plain vanilla case and it fits fine in my 2021 XC60 T8. But with my old Otto box case it's too big. Not a problem because in that case it's too big for my pocket as well LOL. Charges w/fast charging as well.

 

My Pixel 6 Pro with a case fits perfectly width-wise. I have to align the bottom of the phone with the edge of the charger just clearing the cupholder. I also have to keep the little sliding cover in front of the charger open in order for it to fit.
