I have a 2022 hybrid XC60.

i can smell petrol sometimes when i go to the car on a morning or after driving once i step outside of the vehicle. It isn't immense but enough to make me think there is something wrong. It is never inside the car just outside.

I reported this to the garage and they inspected it and told me it is most likely the fuel heater and this i initially acepted

However, i have never known this on a car before and people i speak to say this is not correct.

Has anyone else experienced this and and ideas to what it can be?

I am probably going back to the garage as i dont feel they explained themselves very well and just wanted to get rid of me.

I have the same problem on a 2023 T6 My.
I smell petrol from the additional heater. At Volvo they can't find the problem.
Did you solve it?
