Hi Everyone, this is my first post....I have a volvo xc60 2018, today the tailgate lock or sensor appears to be playing up.
Pressing the button on the tailgate appears to be working as there is a firm clunk and click when it closes but my rear lights are staying on and the dashboard alert shows the tailgate to be open.
The only way of getting it off appears to be to give it a good slam...which does work....any ideas anyone?????

 

Check for debris by the lock and clean out, if found.
