I came across a 1999 XC70 with all of the factory service records and am wondering if anyone can tell me about the life expectancy. It has 90,000 plus miles on it and only one owner. I have 2 kids so I need it to be reliable and just want to make sure that this car still has a good amount of life in it. I don't want to buy it and have the transmission and such die in a few months. I know that they are a bit more expensive to upkeep and need to know what I should expect.

I appreciate any thoughts that you all have!

 

The AWD unit is very unpredictable.They might last 200,000 miles or they might last 60,000 it is never known.

Other that that they are the same as the V70.
