Default 2007 xc70 hard shift

Hi there I have a 2007 xc70 with a 140k mikes on it. I recently started getting a intermittent hard shift with the transmission. I noticed it happens more when the weather is hot or after long drives. Seems to do it less if I drive in the manual option. Anyone have ideas or a fix? I know of the software update but was hoping to get some input before going that route.

Common complaint - solenoids/valve body/trans flush - any or all MIGHT fix it. Valve body and clean fluid is your best bet IMHO. It would be best to use VIDA (unless available elsewhere) to reset trans adaptations, after major changes.

Just be sure to use the correct fluid, (and no crazy additives or trans fix in a can!) and at the correct fluid level when full/hot.

Ok thank you for the recommendations. Are there any websites or companies you would recommend for sourcing the parts. Also have you heard of this companyhttps://www.oregonperformancetransmission.com/product/SNX-AW55-50SN-ZIP.html. thank you
