So out of the blue my wipers turned on and would not turn off, had to disconnect the batter to get them to stop. Few hours later the same thing happened. Then they stopped working completely . Is there a wiper relay or anything that I can check besides the switch or wiper motor ?

I checked the power to the wiper motor with a volt meter and it's getting constant power on 2 of the 3 wires ,so I'm under the impression that the wiper switch completes the ground circuit correct ?
