okay so i have read all the posts saying how to go about resetting the maintenance reminder. insert key, push start once, hold trip reset, push and hold start until everything flashes, release start and hold trip reset until info light flashes, then release and it should be done after starting the car.
only prob is that i get and audible beep after holding the trip reset and code 163 or code 40 pops up on the screen and does not reset the reminder. I have tried this a bunch of times and everytime getting the same results.

what do these codes mean? and how can i clear it to reset the reminder?
