Hi Auto transmission big problemThe car V70 AWD is driveable but sluggish and presumabably in one gear. Been to a non franchised dealer who ran diagnostic came up as solenoid fault.Recommened Software upgrade and trying Additive? claims this has worked before.However on checking Trans oil the colour was very dark so now recommends oil change and aditive. Does anyone know if this has a chance of working or am I looking at new or rebuilt Transmission. Also am I doing further damage using the car fo one short trip about4miles a day. When cold it seems to work reasonably well and pulls away ok but once warm struggles to pull away..Thanks for any advice that anyone has Hi

 

I'd ask an actual volvo dealership but I wouldnt drive it anymore than you HALF to. You could be doing more harm

 

I have changed fluid with positive results. Its a place to start.
