Boost pressure sensor or TCV???
2000 xc70 SE threw a check engine light today. P0236/P0237 was the code on my generic OBD II. Boost sensor circuit range/performance and boost sensor circuit low (respectively) Everything ive read says boost pressure sensor or TCV? How can i determine which it is?
Hi there; Newbie here..
I have the same with my 2002 S60T5.
Replaced the TCV, located by the air box..cleared the codes; went to the store came back and so did the check engine light. Is there another sensor? Or is it Something else? Like MAF or leaky turbo lines.

I replaced the Boost Pressure Sensor which is just to the left of the air box on top of the air intake pipe as it leaves the air box. It snaps in to the pipe and has one, two wire plug on it. It was around $100. No codes since then.
Ok. I belive this sensor is the MAP sensor; also called Boost Pressure Sensor by Volvo
Would you be able to tell me what the return voltage, from the sensor to the ECM, is; I only get 0.3V which seems to low.
The ECM voltage supply is good (5V), but I cannot find any where the return specs.
Thanks
