Default can I hurt the Geartronic transmission?

All,
I have an 04XC70 with the Geartronic transmission, and I'm wondering if varied driving habits can harm the system. For instance, my wife drives the car like a pure automatic, but I drive it like a stick shift. Will the constant switching back-and-forth have negative consequences in the years to come? Should we just stick to driving it one way? Any feedback would be appreciated!

As far as I know it will do no damage at all.

The computer adapts to driving habits.

Thanks Tech. If you do come across any problems with the Geartronic, please let me us all know. I love the feature but am willing to give it up if problems are on the horizon!
