The clunk!

The clunk!
As you all know, I have been trying to find the cause of an annoying clunk/rattle in my wife's XC70. We just moved to a new house, and my wife just had knee surgery, so I have been busy with other things.
Anyway, the sound only happens when you go over small bumps. It sounds like it is coming from the passenger side front., but then again sometimes it sounds like it is coming from the passenger side rear. And it only happens when going over small bumps at speeds up to about 40 MPH Over 40 you really don't hear it.
I pulled the front and rear wheels off yesterday and checked it all over. All bolts were tight, end links (just replaced last fall) were good and tight, tie rods are fine, struts not leaking, top nut on strut is springy, not loose (so the spring seats are good), hub is tight.
The only anomaly I could find was that the sturt makes a clicking sound when you push down on the right front of the car, and the right outer CV joint had some grease splatters all around it, but the boot itself is intact! No tears, or anything!
Any ideas? Car has 93K on it so I'm planning on doing shocks and struts soon anyway.
