Default Considering Purchase

I currentlly own a 1998 Volvo S70 that I have been pleased with. I just stumbled across a SUPER clean, 1 owner '98 XC 70 Wagon that I am considering purchasing. The car seems to have been maintained meticulously and runs/rides great. Is there anything in particular I should look out for with this model and year? Known gremlins, etc? Any feed back is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Drive shaft ($700), ABS Controller ($150), Turbo ($1000), Fuel Pump ($1000), and more, depending on mileage.

Default RE: Considering Purchase

On my 99 xc 70. I had it for about 3 yrs and had really no MAJOR issues. I had to change the throttle unit (that was the most expensive), I changed turbo seal/gaskets (leaking). Heater core (I did it myself easy) but other than routine maint. thats about it. I have 100k on it and it rides very good and quiet. I also rotate my tires alot (4k), since it's a AWD I heard if your tires are not the same size they will wear out you viscous coupling prematurely. Overall I'm very happy with the price to useage ratio. And since I didn't buy the car brand new (40,000) I paid 10k good deal.
