Is it difficult to remove the drive shaft from my 2000 XC70?

Default Is it difficult to remove the drive shaft from my 2000 XC70?
Will this cause a major problem down the road?

It's not that hard to take out and you can drive it afterwards. See this thread:

Thanks for the welcome.

I was planning on taking it off but it helps to know that others have done the same thing with out some adverse effects.
