drive shaft noise 1999 volvo xc 70
Clunking noise from dive shaft area. The frequency varies with speed of vehicle. Noise does not change when transmission is shift from drive to neutral or when turning steering wheel.

Mine was doing the same thing. Tech made a suggestion of removing the driveshaft to the rear wheels and that fixed it for me! Parts were going to be too much for me to repair it.
