I am trying to decide between a sedan, like the S60 or S80, and the XC70. I drive a mile of gravel to get to the highway. My experience with vehicles having a flat rear end, like a station wagon or SUV, is that the rear window gets covered with gravel dust.

Does the wing accessory do any good to prevent that?

 

No it doesn't help. But you're going to get dust on your rear window no matter car you drive.

 

...the wagon has a rear wiper....I enjoy the fact that a clear window is at a flick of a switch on my XC70
