I'm looking at a 99 V70 XC AWD. I took it to my mechanic and he called me before they even checked it out saying that it had an oil leak at the turbo and not to buy the car. He had me look at the leak and it was very small--just old, dried oil. He said I would have to always keep an eye on the oil level and that it was just not a good car. Any comments?

 

Was it from the turbo or the engine?
They have a oil return line that leaks and only takes an o-ring to fix it.
If it was at the turbo itself as long as it is small that is normal as well for all these cars.
