How to reset computer on a 04 xc70?
I have a 2004 XC70. The brake pedal position sensor failed. I got a message that said BRAKE FAILURE - STOP IMMEDIATELY or something to that effect. However, the brakes did not fail. Also Cruise Control was disabled. I got new brake pads on the front and replaced the Brake Pedal Position Sensor.
The brakes work fine but I still get BRAKE FAILURE - STOP IMMEDIATELY , my odometer does not work and the Cruise Control will not work.
Does anyone know how to reset the computer and get back to normal function?
I know the proceedure for reseting the Service light. That does nothing.
