I just picked up an 98 XC and noticed that it shifts erratically and hard. So I decide to flush it. I drained 2 qts at a time and refilled it. All seemed to go well. Now it shifts great but it won't go faster then 55. The car feels like a governer kicks in, it just loses power. Please tell me I didn't fry the tranny.

It turned out to be an easy fix, I disconnected the battery for a few minute and now its working perfectly. The drivers side window now rolls up and down as well.
