A little worried

I purchased a 1998 Volvo V70XC with 141,000 miles at an auction and now I think I should have passed.I've repalced left front ball joint so it would pass inspection. What other preventive checks should I look for?
Should I try to sell or keep this car?

Welcome to the forum.

Check the timing belt.
Some drive shaft issues.

The carshould last you a long time.
