Default OIL COOLER HOSE 2001 XC70 routing

can anyone here tell me where to find routing information for the transmission oil cooler hose. we noticed it was dragging the ground on the drivers side (US). it was inserted upward into the engine compartment on the passenger side. neither end was connected.
also, where to check the transmission fluid.

the lines goes to either the lower radiator, by the hose, or up above it on the radiator, under the hood. the dipstick for it is hidden on the trans, under the radiator hose routing from under the hood, its yellow.

Default troubled transmission

This transmission continues to be a problem. It is the the typical 2001 Volvo transmission issue.

does anyone know if it is possible to replace the automatic transmission with a manual transmission?

are there known issues with Volvo manual transmissions?
