Default Parts suppliers.

HI folks,

Well, as usual lately the timing of repairs suck, but..... Anyway, I need to do a timing belt job on the wife's XC-70 as it is now due. I plan on replacing the timing belt, tensioner, pulley, the serpentine belt, tensioner, water pump, coolant, plus all filters and plugs (while I am in there).

I looked at FCP groton, Autohausaz, Egermanparts, etc and it looks like they are all pretty much the same at about $400 for all the parts I'm going to need.

Does anyone know of a place where I can get quality parts for a bit lower price? The reason I ask is that with Christmas right around the corner I would like to save a few coins if I could. If not, then so be it.....

Many thanks for any tips,

Glenn

Well think of it this way. I am sure you would spend at least $100-$300 more at the dealership.

Volvo parts don't come cheap. And $400 doesn't sound half bad.

But why don't you take a look at the LINKS thread in GENERAL VOLVO FORUM. Plenty of links in there that would interest you.
