Default Pretty sure my brake booster is going...options?

So I had the tell tale air leak from the CPV housing under the dash, which has stopped altogether for awhile now, and I thought perhaps I had some time before the booster was/is going.

The pedal has gotten REALLY stiff as of late, but only intermittently, and there's no loss of braking power, just resists the foot, and only for one or two pumps.

I'm wondering if it's worth it to try a bleed, and see if that helps. This car sat for awhile before I got it, a 2001 XC70, or if with the air compressor sound eminating from the floor boards, if I should just get it rebuilt/replaced.

I'd like to DIY it, any sources for parts if that's where I need to go would be helpful. I'll probably try a bleed first as it's cheap, and I'd like to take a look at the brakes/rotors anyway.

Thanks.

My car is doing the same thing it sounds like an air vacuum leak I don't think bleeding your brakes will do anything and I have an 01 s60 parts car I'm thinking about taking the brake booster off that or you could find one on ebay for sure. That looks like 4 bolts on the interior which are little tricky to get to but probably not that bad.
