Expecting to replace the original tires on my 06XC70. Any suggestions? Came with Pirelli Scorpion STR 215/60R17 & expecting the replacements to be a bit pricey.

 

We can get the same pirelli scorpion tires for a 215 R65 16 for an XC70 for about $140.00 plus tax and mounting at our dealership. Are you sure you have 17 inch wheels? I didn't think they made the 17 inch untill 2008 model, I could be wrong though.

 

Bigtrev- yes I am sure - I copied the info directly from the tire so I would not get it wrong. I should have mentioned it's an Ocean Race Edition. Read a few things about Pirelli's not wearing well. ONly at 30k miles now but last service they mentioned it might be this time.

 

Ok makes sense that they are 17 inch on the ocean race car. I have always been a michelin fan myself except on the XC90's they wear out in less that 20k but that's a whole different story which we won't get into.
