hey guys! Just picked up on a 98 xc with a broken timing belt. I pulled the head, rebuilt by a local shop new water pump, timing belt, tensioner, plugs,wires, cap , rotor , air/fuel filters, motor mounts, coolant temp sensor, the whole 9 yards. But im having a problem. The car will start, barely, and then run very rich and at first barely idles. Then, if i turn it off and go to start it.. it wont. Itll turn over and try to start. like its just about to. itll actually kinda run for a second then nothing.. And it smells bad of gas. Not like raw gas but burned out the exhaust gas. Now if i pull the fuel pump relay itll start and run decent for about 10 seconds till it runs out of gas. Whats going on? I pulled the codes and cleared them. Tried to start again but nothing. Then pulled the codes again and i got a code for turbo boost control solenoid..... any suggestions?!?!?!
