I have a 2001 XC70 and I need to splice in a segment in to wires in the rear wiper motor/center stop light harness. I found the location, 6 to 8 inches down from the hinge point of the rear hatch. but in order to do it I need to remove the trim panel on the pillar...at least is appears that way. I already know how to remove the hatch panel
1. Is this where the wire harness routs
2. I so, what is the trick to removing the trim panel?
