Hi,

I have these annoying problems with my 03. They don't happen all the time though:
1) if I stop at a traffic junction and just about to drive off, the car sometimes jerks when I press the pedal. It only happens during the few seconds after I lift my foot off the brake and just after I press the accelerator.
2) these strange jerks have also happened in heavy traffic while the gear is in Drive but with the brake pressed. Feels as if it's trying to shift gears even when not moving !
3) the transmission service light comes on even though I've recently cleaned the solenoids and changed ATF. Is there a method for me to diagnose the problem without going to the dealer ??

You need to have the Neutral control disabled.

 

Thanks for your reply......but what do you mean by disabling the Neutral control ??

The Dealer will do a software download to disable it.
