I bought my first Volvo, an 07 XC70 with 240K on the dash. I am concerned that the transmission fluid should be drained and filled. I looked at the fluid and it’s dark….. This makes sense since it’s a life time fluid. I plan to get at least a few or several more years. Car is vary clean and drive great as well. My question is should I drain and fill the fluid or will it cause more problems. Logically thinking, if I service the fluid it should extend the life of the transmission. Thoughts?
