Default Weird problem with High Beam indicator

I have a really weird thing going on with my 2002 XC70.

The blue high beam indicator on the dash will not illuminate until the car has been driven/going for around 10 mins, and then it works absolutely fine. High beams are coming on at the headlights OK , its driving me bonkers!!

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Default RE: Weird problem with High Beam indicator

I would say it is a loose bulb, or one that is going bad

Default XC70 dash light problems

I own a 2002 XC70, and have the exact same problem, only my entire dash goes for a second or two then comes back, i.e all dash lights up and the gauges go up to their respective levels. This seems to happen only after first driving the car for a few miles then it's ok. The main beam indicator also has a delay of quite some time but will eventually come back on. Any help or tips would be much appreciated thanks. I'm from Ireland and car was originally bought new in UK.
