wreck and car pulls to the right
I have a question about my 2002 cross country which was involved in a wreck where I had to swerve to avoid a car that had pulled out in front of me. I was going about 55, and I jumped two of the dividers that separate secondary roads. They are beveled, but are several inches off the ground and it was quite an impact. Here is the issue, my adjuster has said they have done everything they can do because Volvo has stated they have stated that they have a problem with cars pulling to the right. They have replaced the tower on the right, and they put a strong spring on the right. They have the alignment set as far left as they can. (told me it should be pulling to the left). If I take my hand off the wheel, it goes to the right. I have been dealing with this for 7 months, and I have been in and out of the shop more than I care to count. Where do I go from here?

pulling to the right
The frame has been measured and they say it is not bent. The tires have been swapped numerous times, and they were new 2 weeks before the accident. They say that everything else looks good, but they have said that before only to find a mushroomed tower. They are getting ready to close out the claim, but it is still not right.

Do your own sanity check and measure distances from the wheel center to the fender in front of, behind and above the wheels on both sides. The numbers for each of the three should be very close, like within and 1/8". If not, something is askew.
You need to get a final print out of the alignment specs also. If you have it, scan it in and post a pic. You want to make sure you have less caster on the left than the right and more negative camber on the right than the left. About a 1/2 degree different should be sufficient, if the rest of the car is square.
