Hi all,

I have a 2006 AWD XC70 Cross Country 2.4 diesel auto 107,000 miles.

When cold, car is okay.

When hot, and I go into reverse, the car jolts / thuds quite hard. I'm not going straight from drive to reverse, I'm going gently into neutral, waiting a few seconds, then into reverse, then bang, car thuds / jolts into reverse. Quite a hard thump.

Driving the car is fine, gear changes are nice etc, it's only when warm, and going into reverse. When going back into drive from reverse it's also fine, only going into reverse it has this issue.

Any ideas or has anyone else just had this reverse thud problem?
