Default yeah, another water leak

So we drive from San Jose to LA in pouring rain. No leaks, no sign of water. Park the car overnight in rain. Next morning pax side rubber mat full of water with trail coming right at far right foot placement.

I pulled the A pillar: no hose disconnected. Ran water into sunroof drains and they drain freely and no water inside. Poured water over windshield area, no leak inside.

I removed the pax flooring to dry in the sun.

Any ideas?

Hi I had a similar problem with my 2006 V50, it turned out the sun roof cassette had a defect and water leaked into the interior. It cost me $2400! to get it fixed ($1200 for the part and 9 hrs labour). The dealer told me he had seen this in a couple of Volvo models. I am currently trying to get Volvo to help me cover the cost as it is a defect in their product. Unfortunately I have been hitting walls as they feel this is not their problem. I love the car but WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A VOLVO WITH A SUN ROOF UNTIL THIS DEFECT IS FIXED!!!
