Default 05 XC90 Headlight replacement

Has anyone replaced a headlight on an 05 XC90? I have the dreaded haze on my headlights and the dealer states that it is not covered under warranty. I have found several replacement headlights on ebay and am wondering how difficut it is to replace the entire housing? Thanks in advance.

The headlights come right out after pulling the two metal clips out. The clips are aluminum "L" shape parts on the top of the light assembly....pull them up, then the light will pull out...then disconnect the bulb sockets/wires.

Another choice to replacement is a haze cleaner kit...the 3M kit works well. I used it on our '05 XC90 T6's lights with good results. Not like new, but much, much better. The down side is you will have to do it every few months to keep them looking good. They don't haze back to prior to polishing, but they do lose their nice polished look over time.

Default Replacing halogens with xenon

I have a 05 XC90 and the lens on the headlight assembly is discoloring. I want to replace the whole headlight assembly which I don't think will be hard, but while I'm doing this I want to convert it to the xenon assembly with projectors. Other than finding this assembly is there any sort of different wiring I will need to do?
