Default 20" OEM Tires in Snow

I will be picking up my first Volvo (2017 XC90) in a few weeks and wondering how the OEM Tires are in the snow. I have read the reports from Tire Rack which has the tires doing good/ very well in the Snow. I am coming from a BMW X3/X5 and have not had Snow tires on any of my AWD vehicles in the past 20 plus years. Would like to hear from people who has these tires and there experience !

what brand/model of OEM tires do you have? (manufacturers typically have more than one OEM supplier). Assuming you have all seasons you will give up a little in deep snow and on ice but the XC90 should be comparable to the X5. I put snows on my wife's Highlander - but we live in a hilly part of CT so we get a good mix of snow and ice. I owned a Quattro for 20 years and never ran snows on it - just put 100 lbs of ballast in the trunk when needed :-) (two bags of water softener salt)

Snow tires make a HUGE difference. I have The Perelli's and can likely stop faster than 99% of the other cars on the road on ice. Also handles deep snow (10-12") well. Expensive car - largely based on safety - might as well make it a year-round feature.
