2004 T6 still having trouble starting. Need advice!
Well I have had the car at the dealers 3 times and they can't figure it out. So far I have replaced the starter, battery, plugs, cam sensor and crank shaft sensor twice to no avail. The dealer now wants to replace the ECM.
So before i pay to have them guess again i thought i would ask the forum. I have also done some more trouble shooting on my part. I have found out that when there is a prolong start cycle it is due to no spark. Some times it takes 30-45 seconds for a spark to fire at the plugs. But once I get a spark the car cranks right up and runs like normal. It seems when the car sits for a prolong period of time it fires right up.
Any ideas on what is causing this? Thanks for your suggestions in advance.
