2004 volvo xc90 t-6 turbo question
Hello guys I am pretty new here but could use some helpful answers to a problem I am having. I have a 2004 Volvo xc90 T-6 awd it has 124k miles on it. Problem is I don't think it is getting full boost and seems kind of sluggish so to speak. I hear the turbos, but sounds more like hissing then building pressure.
I did have the motor and transmission out of the car to build the transmission but have checked and rechecked my work. No leaks from the turbos, no cracks in any of the plastics, I have checked and have replaced several vacuum lines going from boost control valve. I have also checked intercooler hose so I am now scratching my head on what it could possibly be.
I remember driving one several years ago and being pretty impressed on how it ran and now im foot deep into it and not very impressed at all. Thought I might throw it out there no engine light on of any kind, 350 miles on transmission no issues there definitely a boost issue.
Thanks in advance for any help guys I appreciate it

They sure are hard to work on. It seems to me that it should set a MAF code if it leaks. The MAF is the first thing in the piping, so if anything leaks in or out, your fuel mixture would be off.
