I changed the fuel rail pressure sensor on my 2005 Volvo XC90. First problem the screw was stripped so I had to use a bolt remover socket. 2nd problem: old sensor was jammed in fuel rail had to break it and drill holes to weaken the plastic and rubber in order to take it out. I used carb cleaner to make sure no plastic or rubber residue is in the injectors. I didnt see anything. Installed new fuel sensor and reinstalled rail and all wiring. I start the engine and nkw it feels rough. The engine light blinks 3 times. My guess is that one or more injectors are dirty do to the plastic or rubber residue. It started raining so will have to wait until tomorrow. Any opinions or advise is much appreciated.

 

you could have debris that's clogging one of the injectors or you could have an air leak due to the injector not seating properly.
