2005 XC90 V8 Transmission Doesn't Disengage when stopped
I have tried searching thru this forum, as it has helped me a lot in the past searching for answers to various issues with my XC90, but I can't seem to find any info on this problem, perhaps I am not using the proper search terms.
My XC90 runs fine, some tranny issues that I have been able to work out, but overall fine. I did some damage to the oil filter housing on a rough road, and that is when this problem happened. When I apply the brake while the car is in drive, the car continues to want to pull forward, the transmission does not disengage. I have repaired the oil filter housing, but the problem persists. When I am driving, the car runs fine, changes gears fine, but when I come to a stop, I have to either put it in neutral or press down hard on the brake.
Any thoughts on where I should start?
BTW, thank you in advance. (and for previous help that I have received from this forum)
