I replaced the rear view mirror and since then my remote locks have not worked. I’m not sure what happened or how to fix it, I’ve looked around but have seen any solutions that have worked for me. The locks still work using the key in the door or using the buttons on the doors but not from the remote. Has anyone dealt with this or something similar and have any solutions possibly? Thanks so much

The Remote control receiver is in the rear view mirror and when you change it you need to have the remote control to it or have it reprogrammed

 

Old thread - but the easiest way is to take the mirror apart and using a long skinny razor knife - like a wallpaper knife - carefully remove the UEM from the back of the glass on swap it to your used mirror. As far as I know you can't reprogram a used UEM using VIDA. Perhaps an aftermarket company could such as Xemodex.
