Does anyone have a guide on replacing the oil trap system on an 06 XC90 2.5. I've seen a few for other models, but not the XC90.

 

No, but I have an '04, and I think I am in the same boat. Why this is not routine maintenance is beyond me, based on how darn common the issue seems to be-

 

I got a quote from Volvo for the parts to replace the entire system and it was 316. It looks to be quite a job, at least from the videos I've seen for other models. I may try to tackle it in the coming weeks. If so, I will let you know.
