Default 2006 xc90

Hi all bought a second hand 2006 xc90 - was just in for a service now I get the amber triangle Anti Skid control is off. I then took the car to have the wheel alignment fixed - the msg is still there. But also sometimes the Engine management light comes on with a message that reads system service required.

Funny thing happend yesterday though.... While driving I noticed that die D changed to a W. and when I pulled away from a stop street almost no power - I changed to manual and the then stopped and put it back in D and all was fine...... seems the pc is a bit bonkers...... if I disconnect the battery for a while, will this clear these messages or will the car go into limp mode? I do stay far away from a mechanic and is a bit scared. Please please help

Did you hit the "W" button on the counsel without realizing it?
