2006 xc90 transmission clunking

When I take it easy when starting from a stop, the transmission goes through the gears as supposed to. If I push on the gas from stop, the gears want to clunk or shift hard. Any body got thoughts. This xc90 has a v8 engine, awd

could be a faulty valve body
