Default 2006 xc90 washer pump

Quick question I have a 2006 xc90 awd 4.4 automatic and the windshield/headlight washers aren't working. I'm seeing two different pumps, which one should I get. One has a single outlet, one has a dual outlet. Will one should I get? Thanks

there are some VIN splits - but you probably need #30663273 ($64.25) for the headlamps and #31349228 ($64.25) for the windshield

might just be a broken tee/check valve too

The double is for the windshield, and tailgate. the single is for the headlamps. Make sure you keep track of which hose goes onto which nozzle.

I am beginning to wonder if I put em on backwards (switched) Occasionally i will get fluid on the windshield, but my tailgate always gets fluid.

Okay, so I have switched it, and now the hoses are activating the opposite item. Temp did get over 32 degrees, so It did spray fluid. (paradoxically thou). PS since I was just replacing the pump, it was easy to get to, and switch.

I finally got around to pulling the pump...I hooked it up to a battery and it kicked on and spat out a little washer fluid. I drained the tank and it had alot of crap in the tank and the rubber gromet was gummed up as well...my question is when I blow into the intake air goes through the white side of the tee but not the black side...is this normal?

You got me on that, before I went down this trail, I thought it would be simple, straight forward, two wires, there is only two ways for polarity to go down the line, then its pointed out to me, that the pulling forward (towards the driver) will splash fluid on windshield, if you push it it will splash washer fluid on the rear window. So does that mean the gravity weight of the washer fluid is held in check by the upward mix of the tubes,

Fact is Pumps don't always have a fully block setting while its not activated. so just cause you can blow air via the big tube, doesn't reflect on anything. the polarity will determine if the pump runs left, or right (front/rear) I am basing this on my years of Fire service. not that the terms are jumping at me. since there is no valves like a fire truck, that tends to tell me that normal gravity will not allow free flow of fluid. on a fire truck if you were to un-cap a discharge point, and then open up that valve, water will flood out. regardless of the state of the water pump. (waterous pump, ((got one term)) so I am willing to bet is it normal, yes. I am also willing to bet that if you use the rear washer last, it would allow you to blow out the black side. I am just using analogies that seem to make sense to me. it doesn't make it right. I have been wrong before.

Ok cleaned out the tank and pump...reinstalled and still nothing...found a fuse list and tracked it down to the panel under the steering column and found a blown fuse and switched it out nothing....found a fuse list stating it was #34 15 amp...it was one of only a few that were marked since I didn't have a diagram just a list....and low and behold no fuse in the #34 spot so I added a 15 amp....tried again and got passenger side nozzle to spray...traced lines and unclogged the drivers 90 degree and the rear check valve....now it works as it should....however the blown 15 amp that I originally replaced is still bugging me since I don't know what it goes to...If anyone has a link to a diagram of the fuse panel below the steering wheel it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the advice guys

Thank You arfstrom,
Mine didn't come with the manual. That helps alot. It looks like it was a reserve slot...I don't know why someone would put a blown fuse in an empty slot.
