i know this subject has come up before, but i can't find anything specific to my vehicle.. which is an 04 XC90 2.4 diesel chassis no ending 111015.

firstly i've avoided going to VOLVO so far because their price is around £50.

i bought a washer pump from Europarts as listed for my vehicle - price £17 - it was the wrong one - it was single outlet instead of double, and it's the only one they do.

i heard that the pump is the same as used in some Ford Focus models and went to a Ford dealer quoting a part no. i got from a volvo forum and their price was more than VOLVO!

I've since found this on on EBAY http://tinyurl.com/24rcfj3 and wonder if it will fit my car - does anyone know? Though it's twin outlet it doesn't look the same as mine.. on mine the 2 outlets point upwards, one is white, the other black. MY pump is a Ford part - 1S7117K624 FD T655C from Ford Transpar in Spain. The electrical contacts at the top are in line.. like 2 dashes if you know what i mean, whereas the one on EBAY looks like the contacts may be at right angles to one another.... I think this one is also used on Ford trucks, but i don't think on the Focus (??)

what are my options? Do i need to bite the bullet and go to VOLVO? Seems ridiculous they charge £50 when the Ford twin outlet on EBAY is £7...

any suggestions?
