Default 2007 XC90 Navigation Screen Problems

I have a 2007 XC90. For the last several months my Navigation Screen pops up when I start my car and it says "Please insert disc" I have opened the door to the main unit under the driver side seat and the disc does not eject. The Navigation was working fine the last time I used it and have not taken the disc out. The Navigation controls on the stirring wheel do not work to make the screen go down so I have to manually pull the plug from the unit under the seat and trick the system. Once I do this for 10-12 seconds the screen goes back down. I do this EVERY TIME I start my car. Ugh. This past week my car would not start at all. I plugged a battery charger to it and the battery was completely dead. I charged the battery all the way back up and have kept the plug for the Navigation and Radio unplugged for a week now. The car starts every time. I'm not sure if the two are related, but need some guidance from anyone that has suggestions. HELP!!!

Did you get the nav to work again yet? If not, did anyone drive your vehicle recently? Maybe they took the disc out and didn't realize? Sometimes the disc over heat, if that happened you can always order another disc to fix it.

Unfortunately, No it's still broken. I'm the only one who drives the car so I can rule that out. Do you know if it's possible for the cd to get stuck and if so how to unscrew the unit from the floorboard? I've looked and it looks impossible to do without taking it to someone.

Default sorry

I have not herd anything like this one before. I looked the problem up and the only thing I came up with was a lady in AZ that had the CD melt/bend inside the reader, she had to take it to a dealership to have it fixed. I have not seen any how-to videos on how to fix it. Wish I could be more of a help. keep us updated on what happens!
